LAWRENCE N. KLINE, O. D.

Dr. Kline attended Brandeis University and the New England College of Optometry and earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry with diplomate status in both Academy sections of Low Vision and Contact Lenses.

Dr. Kline is certified in corneal refractive therapy. He has served as chairman of the Contact Lens Committee for the Connecticut Optometric Association, chairman of the Low Vision Practical Examination committee of the American Academy of Optometry and as clinical instructor of the teaching faculty in the Yale Department of Ophthalmology, Yale University School of Medicine.

Dr. Kline's wife Nancy previously served at the VA primary care clinic. They enjoy their four wonderful children and three beautiful grandchildren. They have been married for forty years and reside in Woodbridge. When he is not practicing optometry, Dr. Kline enjoys yoga and singing.


CATHERINE M. GELINAS, O. D.

Dr. Gelinas is a Connecticut native, graduating from South Windsor High School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She completed her residency training at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Newington, CT.

Dr. Gelinas is an active member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and the Connecticut Association of Optometrists.

In her spare time, Catherine enjoys playing ice hockey and running.


RONICHA AZARD, O.D.

Dr. Ronicha Azard is a board licensed optometrist who earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Science at Florida International University. She graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Azard also graduated at the top of her class as a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society with academic excellence throughout her years of optometry school.

Dr. Azard also served in many roles of leadership as the president of the Future Optometry Students of America on her undergraduate campus. As a first year optometry student, she became the founder and president of Fellowship of Christian Optometrists. Dr. Ronicha Azard is very passionate about eye health She was chosen to present her ocular disease research at the annual American Optometric Association meeting. Dr. Azard appreciates diagnosing and treating patients with disease of the eye, especially those that can save lives through revealing a greater ailment of the body. She also takes special interest in fitting contact lenses, dry eye disease and working with children.

Dr. Azard is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Connecticut Optometric Association.

When not working, Dr. Azard enjoys exploring local trails, singing karaoke and dining out with friends.

Dr. Azard speaks some Spanish and is fluent in Haitian Creole. She is currently accepting new patients and looks forward to meeting you.

Dr. Azard joins the eye care team providing comprehensive family eye health services.


PATRICIA YOUNGQUIST, O. D.

Dr. Youngquist graduated from Marymount College with a dual degree in Biology and Medical Technology. She received her doctor of optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Youngquist has been in practice over 12 years and has an extensive background in contact lenses, pediatric and binocular evaluations. She is an active member of the CT Association of Optometrists, American Optometric Association and the New England Council of Optometrists and serves on the eye doctor team for The Connecticut Special Olympic health examinations.

Patricia enjoys sketching and painting in her free time.


ROBERT J. NOECKER, MD

Robert J. Noecker, MD, MBA practices with Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut. He has published on, teaches, and performs novel glaucoma surgical techniques. He specializes in complex pediatric and adult glaucoma cases especially in combination with cataract surgery. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and has lectured in over 25 countries on glaucoma and cataract diagnosis and therapy. He is the principal investigator in ongoing clinical trials for glaucoma, dry eyes and cataract surgery. He has degrees from MIT, the University of North Carolina and the University of Arizona.


MATTHEW DOMBROW, MD

Dr. Matthew Dombrow received his undergraduate degree Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University. He then attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as a Golding Scholar. His ophthalmology residency training was completed at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where he was named Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Dombrow finally went on to complete a medical and surgical vitreoretinal fellowship here in Connecticut at Yale University.

Dr. Matthew Dombrow currently retains hospital privileges at Yale-New Haven Hospital, Bridgeport Hospital, and MidState Medical Center. He currently operates as an attending surgeon at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He also volunteers as a retina attending at the Cornell Scott Hill Health Center working with the Yale ophthalmology residents.
